Will I get to choose my doctor?

You may choose the doctor you wish to see. Our doctors have different areas of specialization and we will try to refer you to the appropriate doctor. However, the final decision is yours.

All of our doctors are fellowship trained. Our doctors specialize in knee and hip problems; shoulder, elbow and hand problems; neck and back disorders; pain management; traumatic injuries and reconstructive surgery that are the result of accidents. Our staff can direct you to the proper doctor based on your type of orthopedic problem.

Do the doctors at South Palm Orthopedics handle all orthopedic problems?

The doctors at South Palm Orthopedics are trained to handle all orthopedic problems, with the exception of congenital pediatric conditions.

How do I make an appointment?

Patients are seen by appointment Monday through Friday. Each of our doctors has specially tailored schedules that coordinate their office appointments with their hospital surgical schedules and hospital rounds. Information regarding available appointments can be obtained by calling our office at (561) 496-6622.

How do I get prescriptions and refills?

Prescriptions and refills for established patients are routinely issued Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm by calling (561) 496-6622 or by having the pharmacy fax the request to (561) 496-6577.

No refills will be issued during the evenings, weekends or on holidays as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. Try to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.

How are after hour emergencies handled?

If you have a true emergency, you should call 911 for help. However, if needed our doctors can be reached after hours and on weekends by calling (561) 496-6622. If you need the doctor on call, contact the office and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept Medicare, most supplemental insurance plans to Medicare, several PPO insurance plans, motor vehicle insurance and workers’ compensation insurance. You may contact our office by calling (561) 496-6622 to find out if we accept your insurance plan.

How do you handle payment?
