Dr. Russell D. Weisz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He attended medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the national honor society AOA.
Dr. Weisz completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the New York University-Hospital for Joint Diseases, publishing papers and giving national presentations on fracture treatment and joint replacement surgery. He then completed a one-year fellowship in orthopedic traumatology with specialized training in the treatment of complex fractures; infections involving bone, foot, and ankle trauma; and non-healed fractures.
Dr. Weisz has been with South Palm Orthopedics since 2002 and is credentialed at Delray Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
